Mulino di Firenze: a story related by the river
The Arno riverside at the time of Dante and Leonardo da Vinci was typically lined with hundreds of wheat grinding mills. The mill "della Nave a Rovezzano" was first mentioned in a document that dates back to 1330, and today its reflection enhances the river once again, like a nymph, after long and extensive renovation works that have preserved the original structure of rooms, tanks, storerooms and water conduits.
